The charger knows exactly how much energy is delivered in kWh.

The app appears to have a hard-coded vehicle efficiency multiplier of 18 kWh/100 km used for the range added estimate. Where does this figure come from?

Please make it possible to set a custom efficiency multiplier, similar to how the electricity cost is done. That way, people can input a more accurate figure either from WLTP or their own driving habits.

Hi there.

As you say, the number is a hard-coded value. It is based on the average value calculated by an NZTA study a couple of years ago. In future we do anticipate being able to match it to your car so that you can get a more accurate picture.
