Hi. I am interested in purchasing the X22, as there are times when I will need to charge my vehicle quickly. My brother is an electrician and has said that it is possible to install a 3 phase charger in a dual phase home. Is this correct or will I be looking at 7kW charging?

Thanks for getting in touch.
Our three-phase X22 model only operates in single or 3 phase mode. So if you wanted, you could have it in single-phase mode, and then if you ever upgrade your house to a three-phase supply, your charger is future-proof.
If you want a more cost-effective solution and don’t mind getting a single-phase charger, I would recommend our E2 Plus model (4G+WiFi 8-meter cable standard) or E2 Core (WiFi Only 5 meter cable) - Evnex NZ online store: buy EV chargers and accessories
