Charging at night too limited due to homeload

Hi

I have an E2 charger that is in a detached garage with connected to the home 32A line. Understandably the installer restricted the charging output to 6kW. During the day I have the solar diversion schedule active (7am - 9pm) and this works well. When I need to do an adhoc charge it also allows me to charge my car at 6kW even when my my non-charging home load is 3-5 kW - this works great as well.
However, at night (9pm - 7am) the charger looks at the home load and will only do an adhoc charge when the total load (charging & non-charging) is less than 6kW. This means it will not do more than 3kW when the background load is 3kW. When off-peak water heating kicks in the car will not charge at all. Surely this is a bug?

Hi There,
Thanks for sending these details through. I will get the software team to investigate whats going on with your charger and we will be in touch Via email shortly.

Hi Bruce,

Just updating the community forum with the solution.

Our technical support agent was able to update the house supply limit setting to accommodate your needs and use case.

It was previously set to be more conservative due to the nature of the installation and charger’s supply location (sub-board).

Please let us know if you need any further assistance in the future.
