E2 charger fault?

I’ve had my E2 for awhile now and everything had been going great until a few weeks ago. Now, whenever anything happens that stops the charger ie my car is fully charged, or the schedule I have stops the charger (between 6-8pm I don’t want the car to be charging), it goes into fault mode, and the only way to reset it seems to be to turn the main switch off and on again. Why is this? Has the firmware changed? I think I’m on a pretty old version (2.6.6.2), not sure how to update it?

Also, I have some home automation with Home Assistant that “presses the stop button” when my home battery drops below 25%. Is there any way to then reset this to solar mode without physically unplugging and re-plugging the car back in?

Hi Fook,

Sorry to hear it’s been faulting out. If you could send an email to Support@evnex.com with your serial number, we will be able to take a look at what the fault is and see what we can do to get it fixed, and at the same time update it to the latest firmware.

In regard to the Replugging, at this stage, it would still need to happen, as the stop session button is mainly used for when people are about to use the car / unplug. I’ll ask the team, though, if it’s in the cards for a simpler pause button, which could resume once pressed again.

Thanks for the reply. Email sent!
