Last time I looked BYD hadn’t yet released an API to connect to their vehicles but I will take another look to see if that’s changed. If not, then unfortunately we’ll have to wait until that’s happened!

I don’t think I’d seen that exact document, but it looks like there isn’t a simple way for drivers to grant access permission which would make this a bit challenging for a typical user. We’ll definitely continue to monitor, and have been looking at some alternative approaches to take to allow us to read state of charge information.

@TomRose is there any update? is there anyway to approach BYD?
We haven’t seen any update on the BYD end unfortunately, and at the moment our alternative methods are not supported by any BYD vehicle that we’ve tested against.
