Start a charge outside of Schedule without App

Is it possible, say for a visitor, to start an immediate charge of the E2 (outside of the scheduled start time) without having access to the app?

Yes, on the E2 you can hold the Evnex button for 1s (where the LEDs are) to override any schedule and simply Charge Now. It does the same thing as tapping “Charge Now” in the app.

I’ve added a feature request. It would be good to stop this as I am relying on the schedule to limit charging to only free time. As there is no other lock on the device, it’s the best way to limit some random using my charger at my expense.

Hi Wilko,

You should be able to disable the charger remotely from the app (under general settings) or have a weekly/daily schedule where the charger will only charge when you are at home, with the combination of the button being disabled (the support team can disable the button if you wish)
