Just had our E2 fitted and setting up the electricity pricing rates. We’re with Ecotricity on their Eco Saver plan with 2 peak periods per weekday (7am - 11am & 5pm - 9pm) with Off peak at all other times including all weekend. How to set up for two peak periods per weekday?
At the moment I’m afraid that exact setup can’t be done. We’ve found a couple of tariff types that we can’t yet support and will be adding support for them at some point in the new year.
For now your best bet would probably be to use Peak / Offpeak / Night and set the Offpeak and Night costs to be almost the same (it won’t let them be identical but you could choose something like 17.00c and 17.01c or something like that. Then you can tick the “Weekends differ from weekdays” button. I appreciate that this is a bit clunky but it should get your costs to be pretty accurate!
+1 on this request.
I created an account here specifically for this, and a bit disappointed to see talk of it from years ago with no progress. If my <$100 office heater can support multiple charging schedules, I definitely expect it from a smart EV charger.
I am on a similar power plan to an earlier poster; multiple off-peak periods during the weekday, and off-peak weekends. Right now, I can set elec pricing that reflects those periods, but not enable/disable the charging beyond day vs night. It seems like you’re 90% of the way there with this feature and I’d really appreciate the little push to deliver it please.
Cheers and have a great day
Like many who have posted here over the last 2 years, I’m on Octopus’s Peaker plan, so have Peak, Off-Peak, and night rates for both Import and export. I also have a battery.
With my Peak export rate higher than my night import - I do not want my car to charge from Solar during the peak.
I believe with the future version of the driver app (hopefully available beginning of 2025), we will support the ability to chose a period of the day where the charger will not charge (via either grid or solar diversion).
This should allow you to set the schedule/times of the day (Mon-Sun) that you don’t want to charge when the car is plugged in.
