Regulatory Compliance Mark

Just curious… The Australian Building Codes Board recommends that buildings install chargers with the RCM Tick
( https://www.abcb.gov.au/sites/default/files/resources/2023/ABCB%20EV%20Guidance%20Document%20June%202023.pdf ). I believe this is endorsed by the Building Ministers in each state. Is this something Evnex has, or will pursue, or is this irrelevant given the compliance of (Evnex) chargers to AU/NZ standards?

Hi Chazza,

Evnex’s chargers already have the Regulatory Compliance Mark (often called the tick mark). This is absolutely relevant to New Zealand and Australia as it is used by the Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) to ensure the supply of safe electronic goods into both countries. They have online registers, where you can find Evnex listed, along with our chargers. Our product labelling also sports the RCM too.

You can find out more at: https://www.eess.gov.au/.
